A tempting Perversity – Preface

Filed under: Uncategorized — by sherryhaibara @ 3:17 am

Preface

I was lost in my agony. I didn’t know, what must I do, which one was right, which one was wrong. I didn’t know what my purpose of living was. I doubted my own presence, was I really worth living? Nobody even cared for me. I was alone, and will always be.

I was now faced with two choices, and I could only choose one of it. Whichever one I chose, I would lose the other choice. I couldn’t have both, I could only have one. Yet I didn’t know which choice was best for me.

What they said were totally contradictory – one choice would lead me to a good girl, while another would lead me to another path – to be an evil – they said. Humans were always like that, they claimed that they knew, what was right or wrong. In their own perspective, they judged people as they pleased. They never tried to see the reasons behind everything. That was the nature of humans, we’re merely mortals.

A tempting perversity – that’s what I would call that. Two choices were given – a good girl or a bad girl. Yet the bad one seemed more attractive to me. And I didn’t believe that the choice was bad, no choice was bad, and that’s what I thought. It’s just the matter of how people viewed them. They could easily tell me to back away from him, to leave him alone in the depth of darkness. They said that’s for the best, since they didn’t want me to fall into the darkness myself.

But what would they do, if they were me? They said it’s for my own sake, that I would thank them in the future for helping me making the choice. All people said those kinds of things. And I’m sick of it. Have they ever considered my feelings, my happiness? Those things they’re saying best for me, was not best for me, but it was best for them. How selfish we humans were. I knew more than those dark nature of humans, I’ve experienced many of them in my whole life.

I’ve made up my mind. I won’t follow their words, I won’t care about them. I know what’s best for me, not them. And I knew following him was the best thing for me. Although, that meant that I would betray my friends. I needed him, and he needed me. He was the only one who knew about the real me, and the only one who understood me as much. Betrayal – that’s another nature of humans. We, humans, were forgetful creature. Even if I disappeared from their life, even if they searched for me, even if they hated me . . One day for sure, they’ll forget about it all.

Gakuen Alice Illustration Book

Filed under: Gakuen Alice — by sherryhaibara @ 9:02 am

Hey guys! It’s been a long time since I last write on my blog.

I’ve been quite busy these days. With lots of homeworks and school works to do. It’s really frustrating and tiring.. By the way, I haven’t typed the next chapter for that particular story I wrote yet. Actually I’ve written it until chapter 5 (or 6?) But I’m so not into it right now. I’m focusing on writing a Gakuen Alice fanfiction now, cause the there’s more people who read it, and that’s what I need to keep writing, reviews and comments :D

Anyway, last Thursday is such a fun day for me! I went out with my friends, and we’re lost~ Ahaha, but luckily my father was kind enough to tell me the way. Actually, our plan is just to eat pancakes, but I don’t know how, suddenly we’re in Kinokuniya!

I’d prefer not to go there, actually. Because, if I went there, that means I would definitely buy something! And the problem is, money. Yeah, something like that. I’ve tried to restrain myself from buying any book. I went there 2 weeks ago, and I ended up buying a Hana To Yume magazine just because of the bonus: Alice Academy School Note. Ain’t I crazy? I looked at the manga section, and luckily, nothing catches my eye. Although I ALMOST bought that Gakuen Alice 14.

Then my friend was seeing the japanese book section, I wandered around the store, and fount the section: Illustration Book. I saw Kingdom Heart, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, etc. But it doesn’t interest me. Then I walked and walked, and I found it: GAKUEN ALICE FUN ILLUSTRATION BOOK. I gulped, “Oh no!” And there’s only 2 left. I think and think, “Should I buy this?” I checked my wallet, there’s enough for buying that book.
I didn’t know should I buy it or not, one of my friend said, “No! It’s price is 147000, it’s better to use it for eating!” But the other one said, “Buy it!” And inside me said: Buy it now or you’ll regret it.

I’m like some crazy people, first I took it and wandered around the store, then I put it back and wandered around again, and that continues for three times?! I think the clerk was feeling confused with me? Ahaha.. Finally, I grabbed the book and ran to the cashier. And I bought it! Yay!!
And I truly didn’t regret it! It’s so cool, especially the prohibited question page. Unfortunately my Japanese is very very bad, so I don’t really understand it. I would like to scan it, though. But I don’t know if there’s anybody out there who’s kind enough to translate it?

So that everyone could read it =)

If there’s anyone willing to help, please do tell me, I’ll scanlate it right away. Thanks a lot, guys ^^

My story

Filed under: story — by sherryhaibara @ 10:53 am

Chapter 1

It was a fine sunny morning. The sun was shining brightly. A 16 years old auburn haired girl was seen walking along a road which leads to a big brown colored building. The building had 5 floors, and in front of it’s gate, there’s a sign which read ‘Magic Academy’. People gifted with magic learned to control their power here, they also learned to master other kind of magic. They entered the school starting from the age of 5 and graduated at the age of 19. The class is divided into 3 division: elementary school (5-8 and 8-12), middle school (12-15 and 15-17) and high school division (17-19). The school’s gate is black in color and is made from some kind of metal. There’s a huge clock at the top of the building which rings at 7 am and 2 pm.

The auburn haired girl has a beautiful shoulder-long hair and she has a pair of innocent hazel eyes. She was wearing the uniform of Magic Academy. Her hair was let down. She brought a black colored bag with her. Her name is Viore Heavenheit. (A/N: please see the picture for her face, sorry, I’m bad at explaining things..)

“Oh no, I’m late!!” she said to herself as she entered the academy’s gate and heard the sound of the bell. She started to run faster into the school building. She went up to the 2nd floor through the stairs near the entrance and proceeded to her classroom at the end of the corridor.

She opened the door, then bowed her head and said, “Sorry, Sir! I’m late!”

“Nah, you’re not late. The teacher is late today.” A 15 years old raven haired girl who was sitting on the back row said.

The girl had a waist-long raven hair which is tied in a ponytail. She had a crimson colored eye. Her name is Stella Feileen.

“Wow.. He rarely comes late.” Viore said as she walked towards Stella’s seat and took her seat beside Stella. (A/N: They’re best friend)

Then suddenly the door opened again, revealing a tall blonde-haired guy. He had blue eyes. He was 17 years old and he’s very handsome. His name is Daichi Juwelind.

The girls squealed on seeing him. He walked towards Viore and Stella and said, “Good morning, Viore and Stella. Long time no see.” He said as he smiled.

He took his seat beside Viore and the girls started to curse silently. They were jealous of Viore, she was beautiful, smart and popular. On top of that, Daichi, Prince of Silfana, is always beside her.

“Good morning too, Daichi!” Viore said and smiled at him. Her smile made Daichi blushed. Yes, he had a big crush on her.

Stella, Viore and Daichi had been childhood friends. They were best friends until now.

“Aww.. The Prince is so cute..” Stella said mockingly.

“Huh? Shut up, Stella.” His face became redder.

“Daichi? Are you okay? Your face is red..” Viore said as she looked at his face.

“N-No.. Ah! I-I mean.. I-I’m o-okay!! Of course I’m okay!” Daichi said, stammering.

Finally, the teacher came and so they started the lesson.

It was break time already. Three of them were sitting inside the cafeteria. The cafeteria was packed with students, eating or chatting. They found a table at the corner end of the cafeteria so they decided to sit there. They were eating when two students walked towards them. The first student is an 18 years old girl and she had a short black hair with a pair of black eyes. The other student is a 19 years old boy who had brown hair and emerald eyes. Their name is Shana Feileen and Kurtz Heavenheit.

“Shana! Brother!” Viore shouted and waved her hand at them. Shana is Stella’s older sister and Kurtz is Viore’s older brother.

“Hey there lil’ sis.” Kurtz said and patted Viore’s head.

“Stop it! I’m not a little kid anymore!” Viore shouted.

“You’re still a little girl!” he laughed.

Then he turned his eyes towards Daichi and said, “What’s the GREAT PRINCE doing here with my sister?” he said sarcastically. He never liked Daichi. He knew about Daichi’s crush on his sister, that’s why he hate Daichi. He was really an overprotective brother.

Daichi glared at Kurtz and so their glaring contest began.

“Stop it you two! And brother, if you won’t, I’ll hate you for the rest of my life!” Viore threatened her brother.

“Vi, your brother is too overprotective of you. Both of you never changed.” Shana said and Stella chuckled.

“Ah, don’t mind us.” Kurtz said as he averted his eyes to the food.

“Hey, let’s go to the town after school!” Shana said.

“Sure!” Stella and Viore answered.

“Okay, it’s decided then. Wait at the school’s gate, ‘kay?” Shana said.

“Hey, hey! I haven’t agreed yet!” Kurtz protested.

“We don’t need your agreement, I know you’ll come if your sister comes.” Shana said, ignoring Kurtz.

“Uh.. I can’t go, I have some matter to attend. Sorry.” Daichi said.

“That’s okay, Daichi. We could go some other time!” Viore said.

“And it’s better off without YOU.” Kurtz said.

They started to glare at each other again, but was stopped by the bell. They went back to their class.

Finally, the bell rang and it marked the end of the lessons. The students walked out of the class happily. Daichi immediately went out on the sound of the bell.

“Let’s go!” Stella said as she dragged Viore.

“Hey!! Stop dragging people around! I can walk on my own.” Viore protested.

“Nah, you’re a slowpoke.”

“Stella! You’re so mean!” Viore pouted.

When they arrived at the gate, Shana and Kurtz were waiting for them.

“You’re so SLOW!” Shana said.

“Not me! She’s the one who’s SLOW.” Stella said and pointed her finger at Viore.

“Yes, I agree. She’s REALLY REALLY SLOW.” Kurtz said as he nodded.

“Hey! Stop it! Let’s go!” Viore said and walked away.

They walked to the shopping center since it’s not far from the academy. This city, Alphary City, is the biggest city in Silfana. Alphary is also the capital of Silfana. The royal family and the magic academy is located here. The city is divided into different sections: shopping center, working center, research center, residence area and the Royal Palace.

The shopping center is the center of trading in this town. It is also the center of trade in whole Silfana. Many traders came from different cities or towns. They have a large variety of goods here.

“Okay, we’re here. Where to?” Viore asked the others.

“Me and Kurtz had to buy books for our assignments. What about you and Stella?” Shana said.

“I’m not going to buy anything. I’ll wait at the café near the fountain.” Stella said and walked away with Viore.

They entered the café. The café was designed elegantly, the walls were painted with cream color. There are about 10 tables inside. The round wooden table is decorated with a lacy white colored cloth which matches perfectly. Viore and Stella sat on one of the table. The waiter asked for their order. Viore ordered a plate of strawberry cream puffs and a cup of tea, while Stella ordered a green salad and a cup of tea. After a few minutes, the waiter came back with their orders.

They started to eat their food. Then suddenly Stella said, “Vo, you do know that Daichi likes you, ne?” Stella said, grinning.

Upon hearing Stella’s question, Viore spat out her tea. Stella made a disgusted face.

“Eww..” Stella said.

“This is your fault!”

“Ahh, forget it. Now answer my question!” Stella said.

“Umm.. I thought we’re just friends?” Viore replied.

“Yeah, friends.” Stella said, emphasizing the word “friends”.

“Hey!”
“You’re too dense!”

“No, I’m not!”

“Girls! Stop your little argument here and get ready to leave!” Shana said, she was standing behind Stella. Both of them didn’t notice Shana since they were too absorbed on their argument.

“Oh, you’re back, sis.” Stella said and turned her head towards her sister.

“Yeah, let’s go home.”

“Okay.”

They left the café after they paid for the food. They walked along the street heading towards their house. (A/N: Their house is in the same direction)

They were walking and chatting happily when they saw a guy bumped into an old woman. The woman’s belonging fell down but the guy didn’t bother to help her. Instead, he walked away, leaving the old woman. Viore and the others ran towards the old woman and helped her to pick her belongings.

“Are you okay, grandma?” Viore asked.

“Yes, I am okay. Thank you all of you.” She said and smiled at them. She added, “Students from the academy, eh?”
“Yeah, how do you know?” Viore asked.

“Of course she knew, we’re wearing the uniform. I can’t believe my sister is such an idiot.” Kurtz said.

“Oh right.. Eh, wait! I’m not an idiot!” Viore protested.

“Hahaha.. Youngsters these days are so full of energy. In return of helping me, let me foretell your future.” The old woman said.

“Huh? You can do fortune telling?” Shana asked.

“Yes, my dear, I learned it when I was young.” The old woman said.

“It’s really rare to see a fortune teller!” Stella added.

The old woman took Kurtz’s hand and said, “Hmm.. You’re doing good at school.. Ah, you should work harder on getting the heart of the girl you like.. And.. Be careful of stairs.”

“Stairs???” Kurtz was confused.

Then it was Stella’s and Shana’s turn and finally, Viore’s turn.

The old woman took Viore’s hand. Suddenly, her smile changed into a frown, “I-it can’t be.. Y-you’re..?” tears started to fell down from the old woman’s eye.

“Huh? Is there anything wrong with me?” Viore was worried.

‘What have I done? Did she found out about the chocolates I stole from brother? Or about his book which I burned accidentally? NOOO!!!’ Viore thought.

The old woman finally said, “Young girl, you must be strong. You’ll experience the unexpected. But always remember, you have to believe in your friends, and ‘him’.” The old woman said. Her voice was shaking. Then the old woman walked away, leaving Viore, dumbfounded.

“What’s that about..?” she said. She was frowning.

“Vi..?” Stella said and waved her hand in front of Viore’s face.

“Hey! Cheer up! It doesn’t mean that it’s true, right?” Kurtz said.

“Yeah, he’s right! Nowadays those fortune tellers are liars!” Shana added.

“Uh-huh.” Viore nodded, but she was still frowning.

Shana, Stella and Nathan sighed and started to walk towards their house. They went separate ways.

Finally Viore and Kurtz arrived in front of their house. The house was really ordinary. The wall is painted cream, and they have no garden. It was a really ordinary house. Viore and Kurtz lived there with their grandfather, their parents had passed away when they were still small. Kurtz opened the front door and Viore followed behind him. They walked along the corridor and Kurtz went up the stairs with his hands full of books while Viore stood near the stair, she was spacing out. Suddenly, he slipped and a loud crash was heard.

“Ouch!” He shouted, he was lying on the floor now, with his books scattered around.

“Nii-Chan? Are you okay? Wait! Y-you fell down from the stairs..? Then what the old woman said is true!! ‘Beware of stairs’! So it means.. AHHH!!!!” She panicked.

“Oi, calm down! Help me to get up first, will ya?”

“Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot.. Ehehe..” She helped her brother to stand up. But suddenly, Kurtz’s face changed into a horrified expression.

“KURTZ!! VIORE!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! IT’S A TOTAL MESS!! CLEAN IT UP NOW!!” A 60 years old man said from behind Viore, he seemed furious.

“Sorry! We’ll get it cleaned quickly!” Viore and Kurtz said, afraid they might be scolded by their grandfather again.

“Good, meet me at the living room when you’re done.” He said and walked towards the living room.

After they finished cleaning, they went towards the living room. Their grandfather was sitting on a couch, they sat opposite him.

“Viore, I need you to do something. As you all know, it was rumored that Gagharv had been developing new weapon. We feared that they’ll start another war. We had been in bad terms with them since ancient times. I need you to accompany Prince Daichi Juwelind as his bodyguard there, along with several other people. We decided to send you since you’re one of the best candidates from the academy. This will be a good lesson for you. Understood?”

“Yes, grandpa.” Viore replied.

“Tch. Why her? I bet that bratty Prince just want to spend more time with my cute little sister!” Kurtz sounded pissed.

“Kurtz! Mind your language or you’ll be grounded! Now Viore, you’ll depart tomorrow at 8 a.m. sharp! Prepare yourself.” Grandpa said.

“Yes, grandpa. I’ll miss you two..” Viore said.

“Don’t worry, it won’t be a long trip.” Their grandpa said and smiled.

Viore felt relieved on seeing his grandpa’s smile, on the other hand, Kurtz was not happy. It seemed there’s something bothering his mind. Wonder what it is?

Night had fallen, it was already 11 p.m.

Knock-knock.

“Who is it?”

“It’s me.”

“Come in.”

The room was dark, it was only lit by a small candle on the table near the bed. The window was left open.

“Grandpa, why did you call me?”

“Kurtz.. This will be hard to you. His Majesty wished for ‘her’ to be exiled.”

“WHAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” Kurtz started to shout.

“Unfortunately, no.”

“BUT WHY?! WHAT HAD SHE DONE?”

“Keep your voice down Kurtz, she’s sleeping now, we can’t let her hear this conversation. I don’t really know why myself. But I don’t want to end up in jail also. All His Majesty said was ‘This is for our sake.’ I didn’t know the details, though. Bear with it, Kurtz.”

“I won’t let them!” Kurtz said.

sigh. Just as I thought. Sorry.” His grandpa chanted a spell and Kurtz fell asleep immediately.

“Viore.. Be strong..”

The next morning, at 8 a.m.

“Be careful on your way.” Her grandpa said.

“Sure grandpa.” Viore smiled. “Where’s nii-chan?”

“He’s still sleeping, I tried to wake him up but it was in vain. You know your brother.”

“I’ll surely smack him when I went back!” she pouted.

“Let’s go, Vi.” Daichi said.

“Oh okay. Ja ne, grandpa!” Viore waved her hand at her grandpa. She entered the boat and it started to set sail.

Viore was looking at the sea. Daichi was beside her.

“Ne Daichi, it’s beautiful, isn’t it? I love the scenery!” She said and smiled.

“Yes, is this your first time sailing?” Daichi asked.

“Yup!!”

Viore started humming a tune, while Daichi just kept silent, he focused his gaze on her.

“Hey Vi..” Daichi said.

“Hmm?”

“What if you’re in this position: you have to choose between two options; your country, or someone you love dearly. Which one will you choose?” He asked.

“Umm. Both of them?”

“You can only choose one, choosing one means betraying the other one.”

“Umm, that’s a hard choice.”

“Yes, it is.”

“I think I’ll choose the one I loved.”

“Why?”
Viore smiled, “Just listen to your heart. It’ll surely give you the answer. I can’t tell you my reason for choosing that, because that’s what my heart says, I don’t even know the reason myself. I wanted the ones I love to be happy, maybe that’s why.”

Daichi smiled on hearing her answers.

“Sometimes you don’t need a reason to do something.” She continued.

‘Yes, this is what I like about her, Viore Heavenheit. Her positive thinking, her innocence, her smile, everything about her seems so charming.’ Daichi thought.

“Why are you asking that question?” Viore asked.

“Uh, nevermind. I-It’s for an assignment.. Yes, an assignment! A psychology test! Yes, that’s it! Ehehe..” He said, nervously. ‘I’m such a lousy liar.’ He thought.

“Oh, I see. Is there such assignment? Ah! I must’ve forgotten about it!” She clasped her hand.

‘And this girl could be too stupid sometimes..’ He thought.

Suddenly, someone said from behind them, “Prince Daichi, it’s time.”

“.. Sorry, I can’t do that.” He said.

“.. Very well, His Majesty had ordered us to do it even though you disagree, and we’re prepared.”

“Huh? What are you guys talking about?” Viore said.

“Vi, stand back!” Daichi shouted.

The man started to chant a spell, Daichi’s body became numb.

“AHHH!! My head hurts!!” Viore shouted, her hands on her head. Her vision started to blur, and the next thing she knew, she collapsed.

“Guys, take the Prince to his room!”

‘Damn it! Sorry, Viore. I-I’m not strong enough to protect you. Please be safe.’ Daichi thought.
